Riggs Pediatric Therapy was established by Lauren Riggs M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist. Lauren is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a license as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the state of Texas. She is also a member of the Texas Speech and Hearing Association (TSHA). In addition, she holds special education and  general education teaching certificates.

Lauren graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University earning her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  She earned her Master’s of Science in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University where she was a member of the International Honor Society and the Medallion Honor Society.

With over sixteen years of experience working with children, Lauren provides the highest quality of care and treatment to children throughout Conroe and the surrounding areas. She believes all children should be provided with the opportunity to communicate to their fullest potential.



Robin Ruzic - Robin has been with Riggs Pediatric Therapy since February of 2015. Robin earned her Master's of Arts in Communication Disorders from University of Houston. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Hearing Association. Robin She is an avid traveler and loves to tell stories of all the places she's visited. When Robin is not providing therapy to her patients, she is at home cooking with her husband of 21 years. They have parented two grown children, Ema and Jakob.

"I am fascinated with how children learn language and spend a lot of time researching and educating myself on how to better help children with language delays as well as children with speech sound disorders and disfluencies", says Robin.






Taylor Johnson - Taylor holds a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Hearing Association. Taylor has experience working in the schools and in clinical settings. She has found her niche in working with children. Her family includes her husband, four year old son, and 7 year old daughter. She is involved in children's ministry at her church and serves through her church by teaching, leading worship, and writing curriculum for children.

"I find it a privilege to work with children on their speech and language goals. I love the challenge of helping them succeed in fun, motivating ways, and its very fulfilling to see the results of treatment", says Taylor.
